【妖怪説明】
宮城県黒川郡大和町七ツ森に伝わる。

吹雪の夜に宮床のおじんつぁんという人が炭焼き小屋にいると、雪を被った狸が訪ねてきて、中には入れと言うと嬉しそうに入ってきた。訳を聞くと、雪男が大きな音を立てて歩くから怖くて大森山から逃げてきたと語った。七ツ森には雪男という頭も手も足も大変大きく真っ白な毛を生やした男がいて吹雪の夜にはドッスンドッスンと音を立てて歩きまわるが、暖かくなるとどこかに行ってしまうという。

「大森山では狸も逃げる 春にはおらぬ雪男」

【Nanatsumori no yukiotoko ~Snow Man~】
It is transmitted to Nanatsumori, Taiwa Town, Kurokawa District, Miyagi Prefecture.
On the night of a snowstorm, a snow-covered raccoon came to old man. He put a raccoon in his house. The raccoon said that the snow man walked with a loud noise and was scared to escape from Mt. Omori. In Nanatsumori, there is a snow man, a man with big head, hands and feet, who has big white hair and walks on the night of a snowstorm. But when he gets warm, he goes somewhere.
