【妖怪説明】
山梨県甲府市北山筋塚原村に伝わる。
武兵衛という猟師が五月雨の末の晴れた夜に八王子山の頂上に昇り東西を望むが、その夜に限って鳥獣にあわなかった。すると、谷底が金色の光で充満しており昼のようである。武兵衛は不思議に思って眼を離さずに見ていると、金色の鹿が静かに歩いて山へ登ろうとする。
これは天の思し召しだと喜び、鉄砲を向けようとすると、何者かが武兵衛の髪を掴んで仰向けに引き倒した。玉は虚空にそれて武兵衛は呆然とするより外なかった。山神の霊が現れたかといわれる。

「金毛光て白晝の如く 山神霊も近づきて」

【Hachiouji-no-kinjika】
It is transmitted to Tsukahara Village, Kitayamasuji, Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
A hunter named Takebei climbed Mt. Hachioji on a sunny night at the end of May, but there was no prey. Then I saw the bottom of the valley glowing golden. Mysteriously, Takebei kept an eye on him, and a golden deer walked quietly to climb the mountain.
When Takebei tried to point his gun, someone grabbed his hair and pulled him down. The ball did not hit the deer, and Takebei was stunned. It is said that the spirit of Yamagami has appeared.
