信玄公の守り神

【妖怪説明】
山梨県甲府市夢見山に伝わる。

夢見山頂上に古い大石があり、信玄公がある日この石に腰をおろして眠ると夢に一美女が現れた。
私は三味線弾きだから一曲かなでようと、持参の袋の中から数多の寄せ木を取り出して組み始め、組み立て終わり弾き始めようとするときに目が覚めて、みれば身体中が蜘蛛の糸で巻かれていた。

それ以来、蜘蛛はいつも信玄公の枕頭に現れ、戦の吉凶を占ってくれるので、夢見山の主は蜘蛛であるといわれ、この石に休んで眠る者は誰でも佳夢を見ると伝えている。

この山を夢山ともいい、今も蜘蛛が多いという。

「三味の奏でが夢とはなるも　吉凶知りし信玄公」

【Spider of YUMEMI-ISHI】
It is handed down in Yumemiyama, Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.
There was an old large stone on top of Mt. Yumemi. When Takeda Shingen sat down on this stone and slept, a beautiful woman appeared in his dream. She was a shamisen player, so she decided to play a piece, so she took out a parquet from her bag and began to put it together. When she was finished assembling and she was about to start playing, she woke up to find that her body was wrapped in spider webs.
Since then, the spider has always appeared on Shingen's pillow, and has come to tell fortunes in battles. It is said that the owner of Yumemiyama is a spider, and that anyone who rests and sleeps on this stone will dream. This mountain is also called Yumeyama, and even now there are many spiders.
