【妖怪説明】
青森県三戸郡田子町に伝わる。
長坂の大沼に住んでいた主。布に化けて池の畔の垣にかかって、取ろうとする人に絡み付いて沼に引き込んでいた。妻と娘を奪われた男が退治を決意し、神のお告げにより鳩の卵を毀して沼に投げ入れると大きな音とともにヌノガラミの死体が浮かんできたという。

大蛇堂が担当した『日本怪異妖怪事典 東北』表紙の具乱怒物乃怪の一部には「布絡み」が採用されており、脚下の天空の不夜城の左上柄は布絡みのストーリーを描いた物である。

【NUNOGARAMI】
It is handed down in Tago Town, Sannohe County, Aomori Prefecture.
A master who lived in Onuma, Nagasaka. It disguised itself as a piece of cloth and stayed at the edge of the pond, entwining anyone who tried to take it and pulling it into the swamp. A man who lost his wife and daughter decided to exterminate him. He broke the pigeon's egg and threw it into the swamp by God's command. It is said that the corpse of NUNOGARAMI came to the surface with a loud sound.
