【妖怪説明】
山梨県都留市に伝わる。

天保の頃に若狭の市という座頭按摩がいた。
まだ少年の修行時代に長安寺の大門前を通ると一つ目入道がでて驚かしたが、盲人であるため平気であった。
入道は大胆な少年にあきれ「おれは長安寺の一ツ目だぞ」といったが若狭の市は
「おれは一つもないぞ」と杖を振り廻して追っ払ってしまった。

この一つ目入道かどうかわからないが、夕方近くになるとこの付近から17~18の娘が出て、必ず豆腐屋に出かけ天保銭で油揚げを買い、翌日になるとこの天保銭が木の葉であったという。

「鳥目持たずに化かしにでても　若狭の市では目されず」

【One-eyed big man of Choanji Temple and Tenposeni girl】
It is handed down to Tsuru City, Yamanashi Prefecture. In the Tenpo era, there was a blind man named Wakasa no Ichi. When he passed by the main gate of Choan-ji Temple when he was a boy, he was surprised to see a one-eyed Nyudo, but he was fine because he was blind.
The nyudo was appalled at the bold boy and said, "I have the first eye at Choanji Temple," but Wakasa no Ichi swung his cane, saying, "I don't have one," and drove him away.
It is said that when evening approached, a woman aged 17 or 18 would come out from this area and always go to a tofu shop to buy deep-fried tofu with Tempo coins, and the next day, these Tenpo coins were leaves.
